DIY | FREE WEDDING PRINTABLES TO MY BRIDE TO MY GROOM ON OUR WEDDING DAY

Thursday, April 16, 2015

More free wedding downloads are available at Something Turquoise!! I had the chance to design these gift tags. The tags measure approximately 3" x 6" which gives the bride & groom plenty of room to write a personal heartfelt message on the back of each respective tag.

The files available for download are very plain & basic which gives you the opportunity to embellish the tags however you please! I embellished the bride tag with tulle, lace, & ribbon. The groom tag is embellished with burlap, ribbon, & jute rope.

The wedding ring holder pictured above is available for purchase in my Etsy shop.  The ring holder is a nice personalized & cute gift that can hold the bride's rings when she needs to take them off.

DIY | Free Printable Will You Be My Bridesmaid/Best Man

Tuesday, February 24, 2015

Asking your best friends to stand by your side at your wedding is a moment to celebrate! I designed printables that will help you pop the question to your friends in a unique way.  The "Will you be my Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor" banner & "Will you be my Best Man/Groomsman" drink tags I designed are available for free download over at Something Turquoise.

The files available for download are very plain & basic which gives you the opportunity to make the printables unique & personal.  The files can be printed on white or colored card stock paper & embellished with watercolor, washi tape, glitter, etc.  Of course I love the rustic chic look!  My banner is embellished with lace, jute rope bows, & buttons. The hang tags are embellished with burlap & jute rope.  I attached the banner to a wooden hanger that is offered for sale in my Etsy shop.

I designed these fairy favor boxes for my niece's birthday party.  They turned out to be so cute!  The little star wand can be purchased at Dollar Tree (pack of 6 for $1).  I also found darling dress-up fairy wings at the Dollar Tree too! Several pieces of candy fit easily into the fairy box. Your party guests will love these favors!

The fairy favor box is available for purchase in my Etsy shop as an Instant Download.  You'll receive a 7 page PDF file. Four pages of detailed assembly instructions with step-by-step photos are included in the PDF. It is extremely easy to assemble the fairy favor box!

DIY | Will You Be My Bridesmaid Card

Friday, January 30, 2015

This printable DIY card will definitely wow your Bridesmaids and Maid of Honor! Inside the card is an accordion style printable that pops up when the card is opened.  Such a fun way to pop the question don't you think?!! The printable card is offered for sale in my shop as an Instant Download.  I'm going to show you just how easy this card is to assemble.

SUPPLIES:
•Printable PDF File purchased HERE
•Computer printer
•White card stock paper
•Scissors
•Hot gun or double-sided tape
•Ruler
•A2 size envelope for each card

Once you've downloaded the files, print as many copies of the card as you need (Page 3 of PDF.)  Next, print out the pages that show the "Will you be my Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor pretty please?" (Page 4 & 5 of PDF.) Now take the printed pages & flip them over.  Place each page back in your printer & print the page that shows the chevron/polka dot pattern (Page 6 of PDF.) This is creating the front & back of the accordion style pop-up--see the image below. Repeat this step as many times as you need to print out enough for your bridesmaids/maid of honor. (If the front & back patterns of the accordion aren't lining up then you need to flip the paper in the opposite direction before printing the backside.)

Cut out all of the items. Fold the card in half & make a nice crease by using the back of your fingernail or the side of your scissors.

Now you're going to fold the accordion pieces.  Make sure the side with the font is facing you.  Fold the heart down so it completely covers the words "Will you."  Continue to fold the paper back & forth.

Place hot glue or double-sided tape onto the bottom of the accordion piece (bottom should be the polka dot pattern); then firmly press the accordion piece down onto the center of the card.

Yay!! You're all done!  The card will fit nicely in an A2 size envelope which can be purchased at craft or office supply stores.
